Stormshield Garage Door Threshold
photo

The Stormshield Brand Threshold Has a patented design like no other threshold.

The Stormshield design is superior to the competition with the smooth and non-jagged edges allows the door and door seal to come down on top of the threshold and create an extreme weather and insect resistant seal.

The patented Stormshield Adhesive is far superior to "Liquid Nail" Brand for holding the EPDM Robber to Concrete. This adhesive has to be applied in 40 degrees Fehrenheit or warmer to give it the best bond available.

This is not recommended to be applied to a "Sealed floor" or "Painted Floor". If applied to such surfaces the warranty for the product is null and void. The Adhesive is assured to hold the rubber to the Concrete floor.

Everclear (Garage Door & Parts.com) Click_Here provides and additional 6" of material to be able to seal beyond the ends of the door into the track to give an additional seal in case of standing water. After trimming the material into the track the left over material should be applied between the track and the wall (Jamb). The purpose of trimming in to the track and piecing between the track and wall is in case of puddling water, This creates a Damn to stop water seepage around the seals.
